Our Story

SEAFORTH Australia was founded from a love of coastal and country life.

A few months after catching a re-run of the Australian TV show Seachange starring Sigrid Thorton (1998), Cayla and Heidi were inspired to escape the inner-suburbs of Melbourne and make a dash to the ocean. They packed up their cat and Kelpie before settling in the coastal paradise of Portarlington on the Bellarine.

It was there that they experienced life in lockdown (COVID-19) and Cayla battled (and beat) breast cancer. Heidi fell in love with the landscape and, always having had an interest in photography, set out to capture it.

SEAFORTH was born from their combined passion for nature and the small communities that live alongside it. It has now become a thriving small-business, providing photographic prints and surfwear to people across Australia.
